"I don’t eat much." He said emotionless as he wandered a little taking everything in.

Sarysis nodded again, awkwardly. <Then I’ll be in my own room,> she told him, a little unsettled by how emotionless he seemed. Her bedroom would provide an angle at which she could watch Loki in his annex without being too obvious.

He wandered around it a little then collapsed on teh bed and did a small test to see if his magic would work and when it did he smiled and made the room dark and just sat there.

Sarysis awoke and realized she had been crying out. It had been another bad dream about the Center; she clenched her eyes shut and wondered when she would be done with those memories. Her own Master had been through far worse in the course of her training and rise to mastery; why should some therapy give her so many issues?

She had been watching Loki for a while, but gradually she had gotten bored and begun reading one of her own books; her reader was still in her hand. She must have dozed off.

She looked over at the annex; Loki’s room was dark, but she thought she could sense him still awake.

<I’m fine,> she said quickly, in case he had heard her. She didn’t want to seem weak in front of him.

He was too busy thinking to notice and even reclined a little on the bed.

He shook his head,”Not really.”

<Then we’ll go.> Sarysis led him up to the Bifrost, which then took them to the ship. <I’ll show you to my room,> she told Loki. <Yours is adjacent to it.> The bedroom was slightly smaller than hers, but equally well-furnished, with a wall of windows and another of built-in bookcases (empty for the moment except for the Sith Empire’s Book of Laws), in addition to the wardrobe, chairs set before the window, and double bed. <I can get you more books if you wish,> Sarysis told Loki as she removed his chains and levitated them into her own room using the Force.

He nodded,”I’m good for now.”

Sarysis nodded, feeling at a loose end. She had no intention of trying to order him around, at least not for the moment. He was technically part of her retinue now, but she was content to let him enjoy his new relative freedom. <Are you hungry? I can order us food.>

Seth looked them over and saw a large blue creature with horns in its jaw. “That thing is Jotunhiem isn’t it?”
"Yes it is Jotun." Loki didn’t look at it very long.

Seth walked over to a Hellhiem performer. A demon fire juggler. Displaying her many powers. “That’s pretty cool.”

Loki chuckled,”Yes it is.”

Seth smiled watching the graceful dancers. “Come on Loki you have to admire the skill. They move so gracefully.”
"I’ve seen better but yes they are good."
Seth looked at him and crossed his arms. “You e seen better? When?”
"I was young it was a festival." He shrugged.

Seth nodded as a few animals were lead into the ring. A few were tigers. “I’ve never actually seen a tiger before. Aside from the books in the library.”

Loki smiled,”They are rather cool.”

<Ah, that makes more sense.> Sarysis thought about protecting the chair, and tried again. She stepped back and took in the force field. <I think that looks like an improvement.>

"Still questionable but that is an improvement." He shrugged.

Sarysis nodded. She still hoped Loki would teach her more, and perhaps become more loyal to her in time, but for now his response was acceptable. <Then I’ll go and ask my Master to take you back with us.> After all, Loki had kept his word, she noted as she left the dungeon. <I’ll be back soon,> she called over her shoulder.

Loki paced around waiting for his partial freedom to happen.

Sarysis returned at last, flanked by a few of her own troops and a few of the Asgardian guards. She supervised as they cuffed Loki and walked him out of his cell. <Wait,> she told them, and turned to Loki. <Is there anything here you want to bring with you? I’m not sure when you’ll be coming back.>

He shook his head,”Not really.”
